Carlito R. Vicencio, was born on February 21, 1975 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. A Coast Guard Helicopter Pilot and certified PC Repair Technician, he was first introduced to computers at the age of 12 when his father gave him his first Commodore 64. A hacker at heart, Carlito became fascinated with programming and went on to win several school competitions writing programs on the Apple IIe and the x 286 computer platforms. He was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy with a Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership & Management. Prior to attending Naval Flight Training in Pensacola, FL, he served as a Naval Engineer in the Coast Guard for nearly 5 years. While stationed at the Coast Guard Shipyards in Curtis Bay, MD, Carlito learned the art of computer building from his buddy, Michael Williams, and went on to form his first custom-built computer company aimed at Gaming and High End computer users. Carlito met his current partner-in-crime when Darrel Creacy approached him about buying a new PC. Not wanting to see his new friend needlessly spend a fortune, Carlito decided to pass on love for computer building – and, as they say, the rest is history. With Dude Productions, Carlito and Darrel are starting a revolution – one in which all people can build their own computers and be free of the big PC vendors! Carlito’s rescue efforts on many high profile Search and Rescue cases has received much attention with local and national media. He has been interviewed by English and Spanish media for both print and television. Carlito is well spoken, charismatic and eager to share his passion for computer building with the world. His motto is: “Once you learn how to build your own computer you are free, and you’ll never buy a computer off the shelf again.”
