I am Darrel Creacy the owner and Chief Inspector of Electric City Inspections (ECI). I was born in Houston in 1966. In 1985 I enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. I have recently retired after serving out Great Country for 20 years. I retired as a Lieutenant, having been authorized the rank of Lieutenant Commander. I chose to retire and follow my passion in construction and inspections. When I left the Coast Guard I was a Helicopter Instructor pilot and Aeronautical Engineering Officer. I have a B.S. Degree in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University my minor is in aviation safety. I also hold licenses as an FAA Aircraft Mechanic and Commercial Airplane/Helicopter Pilot.

My back ground in construction comes from my father who has been a bricklayer for more than 50 years. I spent all my summers and many weekends on construction sites working in the Texas elements. My father and I have built homes from the ground up physically putting them together ourselves. During my Coast Guard career I held positions twice as Facilities Manager. Both times I managed every aspect of maintaining 50,000SQFT aircraft hangars. In late 2002 I had decide I would retire from the Military in 2005, so I went back to school and fulfilled the required education to satisfy the State of Texas to become an inspector. I passed the Texas Real Estate Commission's (TREC) Professional Inspectors test the first time I tried. I attained my license in 2003 and have honed my inspection skills to serve my clients to the best of my abilities. I strive to be the most professional and valuable person that my clients deal with during their real estate transaction.
